Name and address verification results appear as review tasks on the Business object. This page describes their types, statuses, and messages.
Verify that the submitted business name matches official records and identify potential discrepancies.
Verify that the submitted DBA (Doing Business As) name matches official records.
Confirm the submitted office address exists and matches against verified address databases.
Identify if the address is a commercial mail receiving agency rather than a physical business location. If a submitted address is tagged by USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency, a business does not operate at this address, which may be a fraud indicator.
Verify whether USPS can deliver mail to the submitted office address.
Determine how many businesses share the same address to identify potential virtual offices or shared spaces.
Confirm whether the submitted address is a commercial or residential property.
Identify if the address belongs to a registered agent service rather than the business’s actual location.

Assess the risk level associated with the submitted business address.
Verify that the submitted entity type (LLC, Corporation, and so on) matches the entity type on the domestic registration.
